OUR STORY
A Lasting Impression
In today's world of image overload, billions of photos are taken every day, but most of them remain trapped in digital storage, vulnerable to obsolescence and device failures. Without printing, the precious moments we capture are at risk of disappearing completely. Unlike the physical family photos of past generations, today's digital images have little chance of being passed down.
At Studio OAF, we offer a timeless solution with salt printing, one of the oldest photographic techniques, renowned for its beauty and durability. Our prints are designed to last for centuries, thanks to the use of Cot 320 archival paper and the application of gold tones. Preserve your most precious memories, whether they are weddings, family moments, pets, or favourite places, by transforming them into beautiful and lasting works of art.

We sell handmade, museum-quality salt and cyanotype prints in small limited editions.
Salt prints and cyanotypes are two of the earliest photographic processes, both based on light-sensitive layers and exposure to UV light.
Salt printing, invented by Henry Fox Talbot in the 1830s, uses silver nitrate and sodium chloride on paper, producing warm brown tones that can be adjusted with noble metals.
Cyanotypes, invented by Sir John Herschel in 1842, use ferric salts to create Prussian blue images that can be toned with tannins.
Due to the nature of the salt printing and cyanotype processes, each print is a unique work of art that is sent to you numbered and signed by the creator.
