The restless energy of the sea captured in cyanotype, delicately tinted with wine tannin. Limited to five copies, each cyanotype print in this edition is unique, shaped by the handmade production process.

The variations in the emulsion applied with a brush, exposure to UV light, and the reaction of the wine tannin create subtle differences in tone, texture, and contrast. The absorption of the paper, the washing, and the drying still influence the final result, so that there are never two identical prints. This natural unpredictability makes each piece a unique expression of the wild beauty of the sea.

This photograph is hand-printed on Hahnemühle Harmony 300g/m watercolour paper and the size of the image is approximately 19 cm x 25 cm.
